This site came about after meeting up with Lee Rodgers, Andy Macleod, Dan Cronin & Bonga back in November 2001. We hadn't got together as a group in 13 years until that point.
Having spent the evening chatting in the pub drinking copious amounts of alcohol, we thought it would be good if we had somewhere to remember about the "good old days".
So that's where this site comes in. By the Class of 88, for the Class of 88 (although others are welcome to contribute!).
Over time we want to get as much stuff as possible on here. So far a lot of you have been sending me photos, so thanks for that. I had the Minehead picture - I think my only group photo from Laindon (did all that went get one of those?) and Andy, Dan & myself have been taking a camera each time we go out.
I guess now we're all passed that 30 mark there's that "Oh my god, I'm getting old" thing going on, so when you look back on school you start to wonder what people are doing now.
So now it's up to you. We'll keep doing these social nights, when you'll have the chance to meet up with those people you haven't seen in years (assuming you WANT to see them, right?)
The ultimate aim would be to have a proper school reunion in 2008, with
the entire class of 88, which to be honest, might take the year to
achieve.
But as it's our 20th Anniversay of leaving, if we can't do it then, we probably never will.
So as and when you bump into people from our year, tell them about this site, get them involved as well. We'll send out mails arranging these events, just so we can all have a good laugh. Each night we've been out so far, the numbers grow or the people just vary, so let's keep it going that way.

And finally (thank god I hear you say) none of this would have happened if they hadn't started Friends Reunited so thanks goes to them.
